The Grey Fox Trophy is a cricket knock-out competition between amateur over 50s teams from Yorkshire. Grey Fox Trophy matches are to be played during the summer of 2012 with the final match to be played at Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground on a date to be arranged with YCCC. The winning team will be awarded the Grey Fox Trophy and will be allowed to retain the Trophy for one year.

The opportunity for a cricket team at any primary or junior school in Yorkshire to play on the world-famous pitch at Headingley Carnegie Stadium next summer is now underway with the Drax Cup 2012!

The Drax Cup is the biggest cricket competition for the Under 9s age group in the country and continues to attract hundreds of schools every year.

Registration for 2012 is now open and all those involved in sport at primary schools – partnership development managers, school games organisers and individual teachers – are being urged to make sure their schools get the chance to take part.

We are running a number of local indoor cricket leagues and knockout competitions in the New Year and are currently looking for additional teams who would like to participate. We can accommodate club, corporate and social teams and all have an opportunity to win a chance to play at Headingley Carnegie as well other prizes including hospitality packages at Headingley Carnegie and coaching sessions with Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket.
